Sonoran Sky 203 Spacious Elegant Beauty

The condo was beautiful…and the view amazing! Everything you need for your stay. Very clean. It was our first time in puerto peñasco.

Picture of the black stuff that was cleaned from the AC unit.As soon as my family and I walked in you can smell the mildew and mold in the air. I messaged the host and he said let the AC run for awhile it happens during humid season. We let it run and still smelled the next morning. I reached out again. A hour later a maintenance man showed up. He replaced the shower head in the master bath because the water wasn't coming out properly. Then he stood for 3hrs cleaning the AC and the vents. The whole house smelled like bleach with in a hour so we had to leave the room because of the strong bleach order. When we returned later in the day, the bleach smell went away and a slight sent of mildew remain. I reched out again to ask what there were gonna do for the inconvenience and his response was " when you reached out i sent someone" i said thank you but hom being here for 3hrs and us having to smell mildew all night and bleach in the morning, thats a big inconvenience. I said this shouldn't of happened if you know its the humid season and this happens. You should of had your maintenance man check the home before you have a family rent the place and have them dealing with the inconvenience. Had to reach out again because there was only one trash bag for a 5 day stay. I wasnt happy that we werent compensated for the inconvenience. Its a nice and simple place to stay. Directly on the beach. Its about a 5 minute drive to town.

The condo is beautiful. It’s on the second floor. It can be a bit noisy at night due to it being right above the pool area. There was a strong smell of urine upon entering the condo. Once the air turned and it went away which was a little weird. You also have to pull the shower heads out for the water to turn on, and you also have to wait for the water to heat up. The bed was super comfortable! We messaged several times to see if we could check in early (we stated we would pay a fee) luckily after a long stretch of not hearing from the host, they allowed us to check in with no additional fees. All in all the stay was comfortable.

The room was very clean and had a beach view. The only complaint I have is that there were only 2 hand towels and wash cloths. There were 5 women and we had to buy some. We didn't really use much of the amenities like washer/dryer or beach items in the closet so I can't really speak on that but it was there. The host reached out to me a couple of times before the trip to provide all the details and it was helpful. The staff in the resort were very friendly and offered suggestions to get around. The restaurant next door had really good breakfast
